Figured I should make an official welcome and my policy for my sims 2 crap.
It's simple, no paysites, ESPECIALLY no T$R and no Exchange!
If you don't like my stuff, don't download it. If you wanna tweak it, by all means do! I conciser myself file-share friendly. I'll try to give credit where credit is due, especially if I like ya. I will share meshes though, because hunting for them is a pain in the ass, and I donno how many times I've just not downloaded something 'cause finding the mesh was a bitch.
I decided (as of about an hour ago) that this is going to be my "adult" sims life sanctuary. I'm very PG on other sites, but this is where I'll show off my nekked mermaids (topless, with hair covering the naughty parts usually) I have stopped writing a story simply because of the fact that there was going to be adult themes in upcoming chapters, bloody battles, human sacrifice, rape, homosexual "relations", I wasn't planning on showing any of that, (well maybe the bloody battles I'm not against showing...) but even writing about it freaks some people out. So since they kinda allow more adult related content here, I might actually get around to finishing it. Don't worry though, I'm not turning my whole dreamwidth 18+, just the certain posts that will contain 18+ content, which will probably be minimal anyways.
Here's a basic preview of all the stuff I made:
Catapult (Mangonel) recolors, Maypole Recolors (Both the Deco and Radio versions), Deco Viking Ship recolor, Tarot card deck recolors, Medieval Pillow Recolors, a lot (unfurnished but decorated a little on the outsite, basically what you see is what you get...), Clothing (Sim ages & ZoeJ recolors) and 2 sims.

Also figured I'd add a really, really old Download... My Egyptian Woman. I LOVED the gold skintone that Navetsea made and thought it would be perfect on an Egyptian sim. (Think of The Mummy...)

It's called a Lance.... Hello....
Jul. 1st, 2010 06:37 pmIf you've ever seen A Knight's Tale with Heath Ledger You'll get the title. In the movie, he's the best sword fighter, but in order to win the tournament, he has to win the Joust. However, the woman he loves tells him that if he looses, THAT proves that he loves her more than winning. You have to be noble, a Knight, in order to Joust. Not just any one was allowed to join in the games.
I LOVE going to Renaissance Faire's and the main event is usually the Joust. Rose @ Rose Sims made a great Lance, however it's very goofily colored, like it would be for a cartoon or for a "just for fun" tournament. I wanted to make some recolors that looked more real.
5 recolors in all, I may try to find a good "tip" for the business end, but the mesh makes things stretch and what I did try, looked silly. Mesh included.
I wish I didn't think that making a custom icon was way to complicated for what it should be... but... At least I make them easily found in the accessories category...

Finally on the bandwagon
Jun. 20th, 2010 07:56 pmSo I finally joined the world of blogs. But I already have a site you say... yeah, but Yola doesn't let ya add a guestbook, I'd have to get one elsewhere or pay for theirs. My site is there mostly as my archive in case sites like photobucket, media-fryer, and the rest of the simming world decides to collapse. Plus you can comment here! YAY! Mostly I'll post sims related crap here, but on occasion, like what happened this last Friday, I may bitch about real life.
What happened Friday..? My next door neighbors' dogs (who are ill treated pits) got loose at about 7am and harassed a little girl on her way to school. I intervened, got them away from her, and have it on video. I called both animal control and the cops, both of which did squat because we live in the boonies and it takes them at least 2 hours to get their asses out here. So by that time they had already been found by the owners' wife and put back in the yard. The sick part... the ass that owns them, was home. Yes home. He was so high or wasted he never came out to deal with it. So here we are, another botched animal control issue with these dogs and the only way anything will happen is if they actually maul someone. Seriously, that's actually what animal control said to me.
On a lighter note, it was my Birthday on the 14th and I got a webcam! Yay for me! I know... I'm so not with it. I only got an iPod a year and a half ago... And since my whole family has decided that Mac's are better, they all have fun webcams already built in. I figured it was time for me to upgrade. (I'm a PC, not because I wanna do a commercial for windows 7, but because I can build my own for $600. Try doing that with Apple...)
And on another happy note, Happy Father's Day to all the great dads out there!
